The Repair Process

Inspection
Evaluating the windshield damage and cleaning the area. Some chips may require drilling a small opening for better resin injection.
Injection
After placing the repair bridge, the technician switches between suction and injection cycles, to remove air from the chip and fill it with specialty repair resin.
Curing
The resin in the rock chip is cured using UV light. Excess dried resin is flushed with the windshield using a razor. Finally, the chip is polished and inspected.
