Why Repair?

There are many benefits to having your windshields rock chips and cracks repaired. Many cracks up to 14" are repairable!

Cost Effective

Modern windshields can be expensive to replace. By having your windshield chip or crack repaired, you save on costly windshield replacement while preserving your windshield’s original factory seal and clarity.

Environmentally Friendly

Windshield repair reduces waste by keeping your original glass out of landfills, conserves resources needed for new glass production, and lowers the carbon footprint of manufacturing and installation.

Durability

A professional rock chip repair restores strength to your windshield, stops cracks from spreading, and helps maintain long-term durability without the cost or hassle of a full replacement. A good repair lasts for years.

The Repair Process

Having a professional repair your windshield rock chips and cracks saves you money on expensive replacements.

Inspection

Evaluating the windshield damage and cleaning the area. Some chips may require drilling a small opening for better resin injection.

Injection

After placing the repair bridge, the technician switches between suction and injection cycles, to remove air from the chip and fill it with specialty repair resin.

Curing

The resin in the rock chip is cured using UV light. Excess dried resin is flushed with the windshield using a razor. Finally, the chip is polished and inspected.

DIY Repairs?

Do-It-Yourself windshield repair kits may seem like a cost-effective solution, but they often lack the precision and expertise needed for a proper fix. Poor application can lead to uneven repairs, leaving the chip or crack vulnerable to spreading. Additionally, incorrect methods can compromise your windshield’s integrity, affecting safety and visibility. Without professional-grade equipment and experience, DIY repairs are more likely to fail, potentially leading to costly replacements. A certified technician ensures the best result, restoring strength, clarity, and safety to your windshield with minimal risk of further damage.
